BTLP run a large portfolio of London-based rental properties. Jon and his team required a fast and effective solution to capture the condition of each property, tag key assets to create an inventory and issue this information back to their clients based across the globe. Clients needed to be able to access and move around a digital twin of their portfolios with little to no training and comment on asset condition using fact-based evidence 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. BTLP approached AEC360 as they have no in-house capabilities of achieving this. BTLP also required on-going support to update inventory information and manage their portfolio datasets.
AEC360 provided Jon and his team with a 3D reality capture consultant that understood the complexities of capturing various sized real estate and inventory management. We utilized the speed and accuracy of Matterport’s PRO3 camera to ensure we captured 4K images, space sizes and volumes, automatic room naming, floorplans of each property, asset condition and various automatic in-digital-twin videos for marketing purposes. Our expert knowledge of data management meant that we were able to recommend best-in-class common data environments for BTLP to securely store and deploy client and inventory data. We continue to work with Jon and his clients to deliver their digital twin portfolio.
